If you are looking to dine out in Dunedin and want a memorable experience, check out Bon Appétit Restaurant.

It's fine dining with a gorgeous view. Drive through downtown Dunedin and once you hit the water, you've arrived. The indoor dining room is bustling, but if you're eating at sunset, the rays of light filter in, creating a relaxing ambiance.

Some restaurants are known for their apps, others their main courses. But at Bon Appétit, you'll enjoy top of the line dishes for each course. The escargot was delicious, buttery and cooked with plenty of garlic. I had a New Orleans-style shrimp creole appetizer, and the sauce was out-of-this-world. Their fish entrees are the very best. I don't believe I've had a better dover sole around the Tampa Bay area. It came with yummy fingerling potatoes and cucumber salad. They offer a great wine menu and dessert menu, too. But we opted to take a walk after dinner through Dunedin, rather than eat dessert at Bon Appétit Restaurant.

After diner, we walked outside on the dock to watch the final moments of the sunset. It was hot out. I can imagine how nice it will be once the weather turns a little cooler. We stood out on the dock and took photos. Then we decided we wanted to go and find a great ice cream spot. We'd earned it after the after-dinner walk. That's another fun thing about Dunedin. There are a handful of great ice cream places to choose from.

If you've had it on your list to hit Dunedin for a night out, I would put Bon Appétit at the top of your list of restaurants to visit.
