Funny how when you move away from home, you become a tourist when you come back. I needed a few days out of the heat and a trip to see family in Maine timed out perfectly! Today I took my grandmother out for a boat ride on Casco Bay Lines. If you ever visit Portland, it's a cheap enjoyable way to see the real Maine. You'll see boats out hauling up lobster traps and some really nice scenery of Maine's coast for only about $15 a person if you take the "Mailboat Tour."
