We held our MJ Morning Show holiday party at the Meat Market in South Tampa. Fun was had by all. We were a little nervous on the front end for a couple of reasons.
First off, would everyone dress appropriately? MJ always tells the story about his friends, Steve and Elizabeth Holland, having a reservation at Meat Market but not being able to get in because Steve was wearing open-toed sandals. Did they guys were close-toed shoes?
And by the way, on the group thread (pre-dinner) Fester was texting everyone pictures from him in his Rough Riders outfit asking if that would be appropriate to wear. MJ, on the other hand, was sending goofy looking retro suits from vintage shops saying that’s what he was going to wear. MJ also claimed he was going to order everything on the menu, including stone crabs.
Another exciting element of the night was the White Elephant game!
