Coffee Chain Chooses Tampa Area For First Florida Locations

Not a Starbucks fan? You’ll have another option for coffee soon, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal. I’ve never heard of this one myself. Maybe you have… Caribou Coffee Company? Sounds like a shop from my home state of Maine but I guess it’s based in the Midwest.

Caribou Coffee Company plans to open shops all over the area – but no specific addresses have been announced. But we do know that they have their eyes on Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Sounds like it won’t take long for them to get up and running. The TBBJ says the first location will open before this year is up.

The chain got their start in Minnesota. If you’ve sipped on coffee from Einstein Bagel shops, you might have even already had Caribou Coffee Company’s blends. Below are some of the things you’ll find on the menu. [Source: TBBJ]
