Another popular northern chain is coming to Florida. Have you ever had a coffee from Caribou Coffee? I Love The Burg says the chain will open its first Florida location this summer in St. Pete. They say it’ll be where the Banyan Cafe used to be at 701 Central Avenue.

Caribou Coffee got its start in Minnesota in the early 90s. They are also big in Colorado, Wisconsin and Illinois.

“Life is short. Stay awake for it.” That’s their slogan. Besides the usual coffee offerings, they also serve flatbread sandwiches, breakfast items like a maple waffle sandwich, bakery items like cookies, croissants and muffins, bagels and sweets like a strawberry shortcake pop. [Source: ILTB]
