If you're craving spaghetti, go directly to Esposito's in Tampa

I thought of giving advice on the best spaghetti restaurants around Tampa Bay, but then I started thinking about my favorite spaghetti dishes. They are ALL served at Esposito's in Tampa. You cannot go wrong by ordering any of their delicious pasta dishes.

We went to Esposito's on Christmas Eve and had the best time. I sat in the dining room to the left (as you walk in), and that's my new preferred area to dine in. It has the best vibe in there and also at the bar.

You know I'm a big "vibe" person. However, what I truly love about Esposito's is the FOOD. I love Italian food, and I've been to Italy and eaten real authentic Italian food. I feel like I've got a pretty good barometer when it comes to good Italian food.

The first time I went to Esposito's in Tampa, I tried their St. Joseph's spaghetti. It was love at first bite. It's just the most unique combination of flavors. Salty, sweet, garlicky...not great for the breath but oh, so worth it!

I share my four favorite spaghetti dishes that you can find at Esposito's. But the fun doesn't end there. All of their pasta dishes are mind-blowing. My favorite shell pasta dish is their "Famous Fiocchi." You've never had anything like it. It's four cheese stuffed pasta pastries. What else is inside? You can tell they think outside the box at Esposito's. They combine the cheeses with pear and then top the pasta purses with a Moscato cream sauce. They add some prosciutto for that salty flavor you might be craving. The dish is finished with a balsamic reduction. They refer to the dish as "the perfect bite." I call it dessert. That's how good it is.

1. St. Joseph's Spaghetti

This is the dish I tried first enjoyed at Esposito's. I have yet to try a pasta dish that I enjoy more. It has garlic, oil, anchovies, red pepper flakes...and the kicker...raisins. The combo of flavors is incredible.

2. Spaghetti & Meatballs

Their traditional dish is prepared to perfection. It's Rocky "Rocco" Varsalona's famous meatball recipe that's been around since 1970. This dished is topped with the finest Sicilian cheese, Caciocavallo.

3. Bucatini Amatriciana

What constitutes Amatriciana sauce? The delicious flavor of guanciale, velvety and tangy tomato sauce, sharp pecorino cheese and red pepper flakes give it a kick.

4. Beef Strogo’NOG’

This isn't your mom's beef stroganoff. Fettuccini covered in sirloin meat sautéed in a brandy eggnog cream sauce with caramelized onions, peas, and pecorino cheese.
