How Tampa Bay Area Residents Can Help Hurricane Ian Relief Efforts

It’s devastating to see what our Floridian neighbors to the South of us have gone through and are continuing to go through. Lots of folks are asking, “What can we do to help?”

We’ve put together a quick list of various businesses and organizations who are busy trying to gather items to bring to those in shelters and in need in Naples and Fort Meyers.

  • 1. Duncan Duo and 2 College Brothers

    We talked with Andrew Duncan of the Duncan Duo and Wade Swikle of 2 College Brothers Moving and Storage. They are driving moving trucks full of goods down to the impacted areas each day. If you’d like to drop off items, you can go at 4701 Acline Dr E in Tampa. Drop off times are between 7:15 A.M. and 5 P.M. Also, here is some info about a watch party they are hosting together to collect donations.

  • 2. Salvation Army

    The Salvation Army is always in need of cash donations. Salvation Amry of Collier County is giving out 2,000 meals a day. They are in need of non-food items. One specific item mentioned is diapers. You can also call 1-800-SAL-ARMY.

  • 3. Red Cross Disaster Relief

    Beasley Media Group has teamed up with the Red Cross to raise money for victims. You can donate here.

  • 4. True Fashionistas Designer Resale

    They have a comprehensive list of items needed which they will be delivering to shelters in Naples. You can visit their Facebook page to read the list of donations needed.

  • 5. Our Daily Bread

    Our Daily Bread runs a pantry located at 1450 Winterberry Drive, Marco Island. They are in need of monetary donations and volunteers. See ourdailybreadfoodpantry.org or Please call 239-259-5188 or visit online.
