You’re going to hear a lot of your favorite Q105 Saturday Night Dance Party classic jams tonight in Largo. The Central Park Performing Arts Center welcomes Tone Loc and Tag Team for a live performance starting at 7:30.
Tone Loc is best known for his party anthems “Wild Thing” and “Funky Cold Medina” but you might not know he’s a pretty well known guy in Hollywood too. He was in Poetic Justice with Tupac and Janet Jackson, Blank Check, Posse and was a voice actor in King of the Hill and Bebe’s Kids. Tone performed in Madeira Beach last year… and here’s a tip! If you’re going to the concert, stand near the right hand side of the stage if you’d like to come up on stage to dance along to Wild Thing to close out his set!
Tag Team has had an unlikely resurgence in popularity after those Geico commercials last year spoofed “Whoomp! There It Is” to become “Scoop There It Is.” When Tag Team performed at Amalie Arena at last year’s Freestyle Explosion Throwback Jam, the guys even brought out the chocolate syrup for the big finale.
