‘Magnum P.I.’ Sidekick John Hillerman Passes At 84

Best known for his role as ‘Higgins’ on Magnum P.I., Jonathan ‘John’ Hillerman died at the age of 84.
Hillerman’s acting career began on the stage, but in the early 1970’s he made an uncredited appearance in “They Call Me Mr. Tibbs!” and that began a three-decade run in movies and television. He retired from acting in 1999.
