Bad News For Male Smokers
Public smoking hasn’t been banned in Florida like it has been in other states around the country. There are still businesses in the Tampa Bay area that allow smoking. Crazy!
In today’s society we all know that smoking cigarettes is bad for our health. Yet, even with all of the information about the adverse effects of cigarettes, over 34 million Americans still smoke. That’s a staggering figure.
Now smokers have even more to worry about. A scientist out of the UK warns that smoking can actually shrink a male’s penis size. Top Urologist Marc Laniado, of Harley Street Urologist in the UK explained it this way:
“To have a firm erection, you need sufficient blood flow. Smokers have a higher incidence of artherosclerosis in all blood vessels, including those in the penis, which can reduce blood flow. The chemicals in smoke may also have an effect on firmness; nicotine causes blood vessels to become narrow. This can be temporary or – eventually – permanent. So, in summary, smoking can make your penis appear shorter or in fact become shorter.”
Laniado goes on to say that many men complain their penis is getting smaller as they age, when its likely due to smoking. It makes total sense if you think about it.
And before the women smokers think they aren’t effected, Laniado adds that women’s arousal can also be affected by lack of blood flow to the area.
So, just another really good reason to give up cigarettes for both men and women. If you’d like more details on the story to to Mirror.co.uk.
