Polk County School Bus Crash Claims Fatality
Tragedy today when a Polk County School bus collided head-on with another vehicle, resulting in a death.
ABC Action news reports that deputies say the accident happened on Homeland-Garfield Road in the Homeland area.
Reports show that at the time of the crash there were only were four students, the driver and a bus attendant on the bus. All were checked out by EMS and found to be without injury. Unfortunately the driver of the other vehicle died in the crash.
Polk County Deputies preliminary report says the school bus driver was NOT at fault.
