Pinellas Park Police arrested a Seminole woman for fleeing the scene of two hit-and-run accidents, before running a red light and causing a fatal collision, that killed a Largo man.

Twenty-eight year-old Katlynn Smith is accused of killing 53-year-old Kahn Kim Nguyen of Largo.

Police report no one was hurt in the first two crashes caused by Smith, but while they were searching for her Toyota Camry, they were called to the scene of a very serious accident at 66th Street and 70th Avenue North.

Investigators say the third accident was also caused by Smith after she ran the red light and slammed into the Nguyen’s driver’s side door, killing him.

Smith was placed under arrest at the scene and charged with vehicular homicide and hit and run with property damage.
