Tampa Bay Humane Society Offers Free Dog Vaccinations
ABC Action News reports that The Tampa Bay Humane Society will be offering free vaccinations tomorrow (November 2nd.) to the first 1,000 dogs that show up to the event.
The vaccinations will include: distempter/ parvovirus (DA2PP) and rabies. Having done this free clinic in the past, the Humane Society says to be aware that lines form early.
The free clinic will be held at the Wimauma Civic Center from 9 a.m. to noon. on November 2nd. Requirements to qualify are below:
- Dogs must be at least 8 weeks old to receive DA2PP vaccines and at least 3 months old to receive Rabies vaccinations.
- We will not vaccinate litters of puppies, only individual puppies will be accepted.
- Limit 4 pets per household.
- Dogs must be on leashes.
- For their own safety and security, cats are not permitted.
In addition to the free clinic, Feeding Tampa Bay will be also there with a My Mobile Pantry for those in need. Everything is under $2.
Those attendees interested in the shot clinic event, will receive a sponsored voucher that will allow them to shop in the market for free.
