Jolene Wants To Steal Your Heart
Meet Jolene, she’s Roxanne’s featured pet this week! Jolene is a gorgeous 5 year-old hound mix that weighs about 70 pounds. She is looking for her forever home at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. When Jolene was brought to HSTB, she was found to be heartworm positive. Luckily for her, the nice people at the humane society treated her and is expected to live a full, happy life. However, she MUST return to the AHC for my scheduled appointments. Because of her procedure, she needs to leash walked only and kept calm. Learn more about Jolene here.
Jolene may be a little more work than some other dogs here, but we know she is worth it!
Normally adoptions cost is $125. Jolene will be available for adoption for the special price of $10.50 through end-of-day Friday (24-hours after the she is featured on the air.) Make sure to mention Q105 and Roxanne’s Pet Project is the reason you came to adopt your fur-baby!

One of the missions of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay is to end animal homelessness and we can’t wait to help in their mission.
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, provides shelter for homeless & at risk animals, adoptions, hospital and TNVR services for the general public; operates independently from the Humane Society of the United States. And we, along with our animals, would love to have you as a partner on this journey.
