As for the 40-year-old age gap between herself and Edwards, 36, Cher says the two are very compatible. They began dating in November 2022 after meeting at Paris Fashion Week. While appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show in December, Cher said of the relationship: "On paper, it's kind of ridiculous. But, in real life, we get along great. He's fabulous. And I don't give men qualities that they don't deserve. He's very kind, he's very smart, he's very talented and he's really funny. And I think he's quite handsome."
"LOVE DOESN'T KNOW MATH, IT SEES," she wrote in a since-deleted tweet the month prior. She added that her family members had met Edwards and said that he treats her like a "queen."
Clapping back at any "haters" of their relationship, Cher tweeted earlier this year: "This should Send you Haters to The Part in Wizzard of OZ…WHEN DOROTHY THREW WATER ON THE wicked Witch & Melted her."
Edwards has a two-year-old son, Slash Electric Alexander Edwards, with ex Amber Rose. He dated Rose for three years until August 2021, with Rose accusing him of cheating on her with at least 12 different people. As for his musical career, Edwards is a music executive at Universal Music Group and worked with Tyga's independent label Last Kings Records.
Meanwhile, Cher is no stranger to dating younger men. Before Edwards, she dated several men that were decades her junior, including Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise.
