Tampa Steakhouse Offering Tours Of Their Wine Cellar That Has 500K Bottles

The upstairs dessert room certainly gets a lot of attention at this luxurious steakhouse. But there's another room in the restaurant that people will now be frequenting. Bern's Steakhouse in Tampa (Historic Hyde Park North area) is offering tours of their wine cellar which contains half a million bottles of wine.

Earlier this week Bern's reopened after going through reservations. On July 14, via the restaurant's Instagram page, they posted the announcement. Guests can now book a tour of their wine cellar and massive kitchen. "From learning about our extensive wine selection to seeing how our chefs craft their culinary delights, the tours are sure to be an eye-opening experience for all our guests," they said.

That's So Tampa explained that the half a million bottles are made up of 6,800 different wine selections. This supply has gotten the attention of many top wine publications nationwide. "Bern’s Wine Cellar is the perennial recipient of the Wine Spectator Grand Award, the magazine’s highest honor bestowed upon restaurants that display an uncompromising and passionate commitment to quality," That's So Tampa went on to explain.

Bern's announcement detailed that a tour is automatically booked when you solidify a dinner reservation. You are asked to then confirm the logistics with your server upon arrival. Reservations are made exclusively with Bern's directly. The restaurant does not work with any third-party reservation groups.

Bern's recognized their Wine Spectator Grand Award recently in a different post. Here, this Tampa steakhouse that is now offering exclusive wine tours detailed why their collection is so renowned. "Age is a virtue here, with wines by the glass ranging back to the 1970s. Whether you are new to wine, or a wine expert, we hope the list will impress you with its offerings," Bern's said.
