Bucs Playoff Ticket Prices Compared To The Brady Era
Good news Bucs fans! The team has won their division, the NFC South, for the third consecutive year. Do you remember what they said about this team at the beginning of the year? They said the Buccaneers wouldn’t win 6 games. A lot of people agreed. Even myself. With Tom Brady leaving and many players from last year not resigning, it seemed impossible for this team to get back into the playoffs, but we did it! So now the time comes to see how much you’re willing to drop on a Bucs playoff ticket. We compared prices to the Brady era and were pleasantly surprised.
Here is more good news. Last year, I went to the first playoff game at Ray Jay. Tampa Bay was set to play the Cowboys in round one. I bought a ticket to that game in the nose bleeds and paid around $275. I was glad that I went to see the Goat play his final game, even though the Bucs got stomped. My friends and I weren’t even watching the game in the second half. We were at the bar drinking tequila to numb the pain.
So what do Bucs playoff ticket prices look like without Brady?
To my surprise, I went to Ticketmaster just the other day to see how much they were charging to get in this year. The crappy seats in the 300’s are only going for about $90 (as of January 11). Obviously, the pretty good seats on the 50-yard line are going to cost you around $300-$350. But you can also sit in the end zone for about half that price. Time could be a big factor here too. Some people wait till the last minute to see if prices drop, but that is a risky game. Some people are also using the website Gametime, which offers flash deals on seats.

So the big question is “How much do you want to spend?”. I can tell you from personal experience, that it’s a long, quiet drive home when you drop $300 to watch your favorite team lose a playoff game. But on the other hand, you could witness one of the greatest upsets in Bucs history.
