Top Gun Maverick with Tom Cruise is expected the pack theaters this weekend. Most of us have yet to head back to the movies since the pandemic hit. It’s so much easier to stay at home and just load up a movie on one of the dozens of streaming services. So movie theaters realize they have to offer deals to entice you to bring you back for good.

Regal Cinemas is hoping $2 movie tickets will do the trick. A “Summer Movie Express” promotion runs May 31 through August 10. Screenings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays will feature $2 tickets to see kids movies at Regal Park Place on Highway 19 in Pinellas Park, Regal Hollywood in Port Richey, and the Regal Citrus Park in Tampa. Here’s the schedule of movies they’ll be showing for the discounted price:

  • May 31 & June 1:

    Penguins of Madagascar and The Lego Movie

  • June 7 & 8:

    The Lorax and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

  • June 14 & 15:

    Abominable and The LEGO Batman Movie

  • June 21 & 22:

    Despicable Me and Pokemon Detective Pikachu

  • June 28 & 29:

    Despicable Me 2 and Space Jam

  • July 5 & 6:

    Sing and Puss in Boots

  • July 12 & 13:

    Sing 2 and Space Jam: A New Legacy

  • July 19 & 20:

    Despicable Me 3 and Tom & Jerry

  • July 26 & 27:

    Minions and Trolls World Tour

  • August 2 & 3:

    The Croods: A New Age and The Boss Baby: Family Business

  • August 9 & 10:

    Trolls and How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
