Does she do all the big Heart hits? What about covers? Ann Wilson is playing a handful of solo shows this summer and one of them will be right here in Tampa Thursday night (June 16). The show at the Seminole Hard Rock will be in their new Events Center. If you haven’t seen a show there yet, you’re in for a treat. It’s one of my favorite places to see a show in the Tampa area. Parking is free. It’s air conditioned. The sound is excellent and you can’t have a bad view. It’s an intimate setting… no nosebleeds.

Below is the set list from Ann’s performance this past weekend. She’s in Nashville tonight so we’ll see if the songs she performs changes much. Stop here if you don’t want to see the spoilers!

• Even It Up

  This Heart song from 1980 really shows off Ann’s vocals.

• Black Wing

  One of Ann’s solo songs.

• Love Alive

  Longtime Heart fans will be glad to hear this often forgotten 70s gem.

• Little Queen

  Another great Heart song from 1977.

• Magic Man

  It just takes one note from this one to make the crowd go wild.

• Greed

  The first single from Ann’s new album “Fierce.”

• Forget Her

  Ann’s covers are always great… can’t wait to hear this Jeff Buckley one.

• Love, Reign O'er Me

  One of my favorite songs from The Who… really looking forward to this.

• Crazy on You

  The ultimate air guitar song.

• The Revolution Starts Now

  Country singer Steve Earle won a Grammy for this album.

• Love of My Life

  This should be really special.  Ann’s vocals on this Queen song should be a perfect fit.

• Mistral Wind

  Another one of those often overlooked Heart songs that is just magic. While it’s not one you ever heard on the radio, it’s usually a top 5 favorite for hardcore Heart fans.

• Barracuda

  OK maybe THIS one is the ultimate air guitar anthem.  Don’t leave after this song!

• Straight On

  Stick around to hear this one!

• Let's Dance

  Ann’s doing one of our favorite David Bowie party jams!

• Going to California

  It’s not just the Heart songs. Ann’s covers of Robert Plant’s Led Zeppelin classics are just as much of why I’ll never miss her shows.

• Black Dog

  This one will leave us begging for more for sure.
