Can a man really be too smart to date?
That’s what a new study reported in The Sun found. The researchers say there is such a thing as being “too smart” to date. While women do like smart men, they preferred one who was not on the genius level, stating that the smarter men are too high maintenance. They also think that the smarter men aren’t as good in social situations.
Reportedly women like men who are in the 90th percentile of intelligence, but not the 99th percentile. So I guess they want them smart, just not too smart. But when asked if there were such a thing as being too “handsome” to date, the answer was overwhelmingly NO. Women are extremely happy to date in the 99th percentile of “attractiveness”.
When studying men and what they are looking for in a date, they aren’t as selective. They are quite happy to max out on both categories. They have no objections to dating both extremely smart women, and extremely beautiful women. Sort of equal opportunity daters, I guess.
