The Tampa Bay Times says Hillsborough is waiting for a response from the team. TBT reports that Hillsborough County Administrator Mike Merrill sent a memo to county commissioners with a possible deal and that the team needs to take it from there. County Commissioner Ken Hagan told the Times the Rays will have to come up with at least half the money, about $450 million. The Times reports the Rays have been willing to pay about $200 million.
