Lakeland To Host 3-Day Hot Air Balloon Festival
Have you ever wanted to take a ride in a hot air balloon? Well, keep reading because this may be your chance to make that dream come true.
Narcity.com reports that a hot air balloon event known as the Up Up And Away Festival is coming to Lakeland, Florida beginning February 28th. through March 1st. The city’s skyline will be filled with the beautiful and vibrant colors of dozens of hot air balloons.
The experience of riding in a hot air balloon is something I would imagine to be both frightening and exhilarating at the same time. If it’s something you’ve always wanted to do, this is your chance.
Hot air balloon rides are typically a pretty costly experience. But at this Up Up And Away Festival both free and tethered balloon rides will be available starting at only $20. (weather permitting)
If you’ve never seen a sky filled with hot air balloons, it’s a mesmerizing sight. So, the festival is something you’ll want to see, even if you aren’t so sure you want a ride.
There will be lots of fun activities for folks of all ages including; arts and craft vendors, helicopter rides, and aerialist performances. For the kids an archery tag and a fun zone.
