Tampa Woman Wins $1 Million On Florida Lottery Scratcher

That’s right, the winners just keep on coming here in Tampa Bay. Wether it’s a quick-pick draw or one of the many scratch-off games that the Florida Lottery offers, there sure seems to be a lot of lucky players here in the Tampa Bay area.

According to ABC Action News, the latest winner is 26 year old Kaitlyn Metzmeier, who says she purchased her winning ticket from Linebaugh Food Mart at 5919 W. Linebaugh Ave. in Tampa. The report goes on to say that the lucky winner claimed her $1 million prize at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. The $20 ticket she played was from the $5,000,000 LUCK Scratch-Off game.

The $5,000,000 LUCK game was launched in September 2019 and features more than $329 million in cash prizes, including six top prizes of $5 million. The game’s overall odds of winning a prize are one-in-2.97, according to the lottery. That’s pretty good odds!

I don’t know what’s going on… but I hope it continues! I’m off to buy more lottery tickets myself now. After all.. “You Can’t Win If You Don’t Play!”
