You hear it nonstop. Wash your hands. Stay home if you're sick. And there's our new favorite phrase "social distancing." All these will help us get through this coronavirus mess faster. But there's one thing we can all do that I don't hear anyone bring up. Keep your credit card in your wallet.

Chances are at least 5 or 6 times a day, you do it. You're either at the pay window at the drive thru or at a store's checkout line. You hand over your credit card and they swipe it. They hand it back to you. Handing over your credit card means you're getting germs from previous customers before you who did the same thing. There are so many places now where you can use your cell phone to make your payments. After coronavirus is behind us, it's just one more thing we can do to avoid all those germs.   Here are the spots where I usually pay with my phone.
