If you still haven't had your shot, it's getting easier to find a place that doesn't require an appointment. This weekend, several locations will offer the coronavirus vaccine, even if you don't have a reservation. Just bring your Florida ID and if you have one, an insurance card. There is no charge for the vaccine whether you have insurance or not.
Clearwater
Suncoast YMCA - 950 South Highland Avenue
Drive-thru service from 8am to 7pm daily.
Tampa
Raymond James Stadium at 4201 North Himes Avenue
Offering the two dose Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine daily from 8am to 7pm.
Tampa Greyhound Track at 755 East Waters Avenue
Offering both the one dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine
and the two dose Pfizer from 7am to 7pm daily.
"Vaccy Street Party" at 1600 East 7th Avenue in Ybor City
Aimed to vaccinate the millennials, there will be a live DJ Saturday from 5 to 9pm.
Armature Works at 1910 N. Ola Avenue
Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9pm.
Walmart and Sam's Club announced this week that they will take walk ups as well. You can still set up an appointment if you prefer. You do not need to be a Sam's Club member to get the shot.
