When Will Florida Get Its First Cool Day Of Fall?
Football is back. Hockey is right around the corner. You’re sipping that pumpkin spiced latte but that doesn’t mean much when it comes to Florida weather. Labor Day was weeks ago and temperatures are starting to chill up north, but here in Florida, our extended summer continues with temperatures hovering around 90.
Is the end in sight? He’s not taking the weather models too seriously since it’s still 2 weeks away, but Paul Dellegatto from Fox 13 We are on cold front watch. GFS is going with 40°s and 50°s morning of September 30th over northern half of #Florida. It's a 14 day forecast, so at this point, it is strictly for entertainment purposes only. Escaping Florida Heat in October
Last year, I took a trip home to Maine to see family and snapped these pics. Mid October is the perfect time to get out of Tampa heat and enjoy the cool crisp temperatures and colorful leaves in New England.
