Tampa Shines as One of the Top Cities for Singles in America
The U.S. Census Bureau reports that nearly 47% of the U.S. adult population is unmarried, including those who have never married, are divorced, or widowed. Additionally, Pew Research Center reveals that approximately 57% of single adults are not interested in pursuing a relationship or engaging in casual dating.
To aid America’s singles in their quest for love, WalletHub analyzed over 182 U.S. cities, assessing 35 key indicators of dating-friendliness. These indicators ranged from the percentage of the single population to the availability of online dating opportunities and the average cost of a two-person meal.

Tampa secured the 7th spot on this list. The study notes that the city’s dating scene revolves around recreational activities, such as golfing, boating, swimming, and fishing. Additionally, you can find Orlando, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, St. Petersburg, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Cape Coral, Port St. Lucie, Pembroke Pines, and Hialeah.
Seattle is the best city for singles.
Seattle claims the title of the best city for singles. The study highlights Seattle’s abundant options, including attractions, restaurants, social clubs, and various venues for meeting singles or enjoying a date. Furthermore, Seattle stands out as one of the fastest-growing large cities in the U.S., scoring high on the “Community Well-Being Index,” which includes factors ranging from public health and transportation to access to essential community resources. The city also has one of the highest median annual household incomes in the nation, reaching $70,308 (adjusted for the cost of living).
Taking the third spot on the list is Denver, praised as an excellent choice for singles seeking a fitness-oriented partner. Known for its proximity to the Rocky Mountains, Denver offers ample opportunities for outdoor activities within the city limits, with numerous parks and fitness centers contributing to its appeal. The study also commends Denver for its high walkability, enhancing the overall experience for singles in the city.

5 Florida Cities Named Best Babymoon Destinations
If you are looking for a quick getaway to savor the invaluable moments of sleeping in, or going out to dinner, you may want to consider staying within the Bay State. Sixt recently published the 20 best destinations for a babymoon in the United States, and five Florida cities made the list.
“When you’re expecting, many couples want to plan one last vacation or adventure before their baby arrives to enjoy time together, just the two of them,” Sixt explains. They also detail how their data has shown, “Searches for ‘affordable babymoon destinations’ have increased by 300% in the past twelve months. Similarly, search trends for ‘what is a babymoon’ have soared by 250%.”
To determine the best places in the country to take a babymoon, Sixt identified six different categories. They then used these topics to examine each city. As a result, they assigned a score and totaled them up. The categories were; happiness, safety, leisure activities, scenic views, friendliness, food, and drink.
What Exactly Is A Babymoon?
Being able to eat uninterrupted and with both hands will soon be considered a luxury. A babymoon is all about relaxation and spending quality time together. “This is a great opportunity to celebrate the new adventures on the way while taking care of yourself and your own needs,” Healthline explained in their recent “What Is a Babymoon?” story.
“For the most memorable experience, try to plan a babymoon when you feel your best, which for many women is during their second trimester,” Healthline states when discussing when to take a babymoon.
In Florida, the five destinations that ranked among the top 20 places to go for a babymoon are all very different from each other. Sixt ranked Kissimmee as the 2oth best babymoon destination, and Miami came in at number nineteen. Three other Florida locations made the top twenty, with two landing in the top 10.
