You can always hit the beach and relax in the sun as summer winds down. Although, as Floridians we know summer temperatures will hang around even once we technically enter the fall season three weeks from now.

Tampa Bay on Labor Day: Plan Accordingly
If you are planning on running errands that involve banking or sending mail, save it for Tuesday. Banks recognize the Labor Day holiday and will be closed, along with federal and government offices. And the U.S. Postal Service is closed, as well.
Want to do some shopping? You shouldn’t have an issue if you want to hit a Walmart or a Target. Some drug stores, including CVS and Walgreens, may have some stores operating with limited hours. However, if you were planning on loading up on some groceries and house supplies, you won’t be able to do so at Costco. They will be closed on Labor Day.
You shouldn’t find too much trouble finding a good spot to eat on Labor Day. Although, remember that some dining spots take Mondays off on a regular basis and may be closed for that weekend.
