Tampa’s Carole Baskin Can’t Stop Tiger King 2, For Now
On Monday, Carole Baskin filed a lawsuit in federal court against Netflix over the release of “Tiger King 2.”
Carole Baskin says she allowed herself to be used in only one series. Baskin claims that Netflix is in violation of their agreement by using footage of her in a sequel series.
On Wednesday, a Florida judge has denied the Baskin’s attempt to stop the release of the series. In response to the Baskin’s case, a Florida judge said they “are not entitled to the extraordinary remedy of a temporary restraining order, which would be entered before Defendants have had an adequate opportunity to respond,” court documents show.
Basically, Baskin won’t be able to stop “Tiger King 2” from hitting Netflix on its scheduled release date.

The judge goes on by saying using footage of the Baskins in “Tiger King 2” is nothing that “cannot be compensated with monetary damages.”
Carole Baskin may get her payday, but not before the entire world sees how “Tiger King 2” plays out on November 17.
