The Smashburger chain opened its first location in Denver in 2007. They've been averaging roughly 20 new stores each year.
Smashburger is adding of 15 new locations around the Tampa area. That makes TLC Gourmet Food International one of their busiest franchisees. Stores will be opened in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte counties.
According to industry magazine qsrmagazine.com, Smashburger creates their smashed Angus beef in view of diners.
