If you’re looking to save whatever you can on fuel, there’s a fairly wide range in gas prices. Here’s the best we could find in the bay area, based on reported prices on GasBuddy.com.

According to what we could find on GasBuddy.com, with prices updated within the past 12 hours, these are some of the best prices.

  • Top price #1: Member club stores have some of the best prices

    The clubs like Costco and Sam’s Club, unsurprisingly, have some of the best prices. Sam’s Club on Gulf-to-Bay is reporting $4.07. Costco on Gulf-to-Bay is also reporting $4.07.

    In Brandon, the Costco and Sam’s Club are each priced at $4.08.

  • Top price #2: Non-Member club gas stations with good prices

    If you’re not a member of one of those clubs, there’s an Exxon on Bearss Ave. next to I-275 that is reporting regular unleaded for $4.15.

  • Top price #3: Hillsborough County gas prices

    In Hillsborough County, the Sam’s Club on North Dale Mabry is $4.19. Costco on Linebaugh in Tampa had their price set at $4.24. Golden King at 11369 N. US 301 had theirs priced at $4.25. The BJ’s at 6290 Commerce Palms Blvd., another club, is priced at $4.25.

    Also in Hillsborough County, the Citgo at 11931 US-301 N. has $4.29, as does the Mobil station at 2510 FL-60 E. in Valrico.

  • Top Price #4: Pinellas County gas prices

    On the Pinellas County side of the bay, in St. Petersburg, the Sunoco at 5801 54th Ave. N. is reported to have gas priced at $4.39. Same with the Chevron at 4801 Park Blvd, Citgo at 5511 Park Blvd., Convenient Food Mart at 6200 66th St. N., Rainbow Food Mart at 8592 49th St. N., Sunoco at 10570 Seminole Blvd., and Quick Fuel at 1990 West Bay Dr.
