According to a new study, children are having trouble learning how to grip pencils, presumably because they are so accustomed to using iPads. Rather than spending time learning to write and color, kids are playing games on apps. It truly is an issue of strength in those hand muscles related to fine motor skills.
Encourage your kids to play with actual toys and spend less time staring at and poking at screens.
