Hammerhead Shark Season In Florida: What Not To Do If You See One
They’re up to 12 feet long and sometimes swim in packs of hundreds. It’s hammerhead shark season for another few weeks here in Florida. They are not much of a threat to us… as long as we don’t get between them and their food. They feed on fish and stingrays. Bites to humans aren’t common. Experts say they can also be attracted by brightly colored bathing suits like “yum yum yellow.”
