Tampa TV Weather Man Is Leaving For Alabama
Mobile, Alabama has some crazy Gulf Coast weather to contend with. Tropical storms are hurricanes are always a threat this time of year so it’s no surprise a Tampa meteorologist got the job at News 5 WKRG.
WFLA meteorologist Ed Bloodsworth confirmed tonight on Twitter that he has accepted the job. He’ll start at the new station in September, according to a WKRG press release. He joined Channel 8 here in Tampa back in 2016. Bloodworth says in Channel 8 bio that his fascination with weather started when he was 7 years old growing up in Hillsborough County.
A difficult decision to make, bit it's the right one. A new chapter begins in a little over a month. #NexstarNation https://t.co/vT16NnnBW6
