Pinellas County 11 Year Old Uses Scissors To Stop Man Attacking Mother
An awful story out of Pinellas County this weekend. An 11 year old stabbed 44 year old Panagiotis Karamanlis with scissors when he attacked the child’s mother, according to police. Channel 8 reports the woman begged “Don’t do this in front of the kids.” One child watching all this, who was just 10 years old, was treated for an anxiety attack. They say the mother was punched in the face several times and that the child feared the mother would be killed. Reports say this was all over text messages sent back and forth with the mother’s boyfriend. The guy says he plans to return to Greece. He denies punching the woman. He only admits to pulling her hair. But police say there were bruises all over the woman’s face.
