After the original story about the Dunedin Seafood Festival was published here, event organizers have released this statement…

“As life-long residents and business owners in Dunedin, FL – we were super excited to host the upcoming Seafood Festival. We do two of these a year for the last 10 years, so this would have been our 20th. For social health and safety that reasons that should be obvious to many, the event is postponed… but not canceled! Dunedin is an amazing community and the people that make this neighborhood town coveted by so many others are even greater.”

• Live PD Pasco Meet & Greet

  Fans of the TV show Live PD were planning on coming to Pasco County from out of state for "Community Touch A Truck and Meet & Greet" on April 4, but Pasco Sheriff's office tweeted this week they will have to postpone.

• Busch Gardens

  Reopening June 11. They'll be closed Tuesday and Wednesday to start.

  MOSI, along with The Glazer Children’s Museum, Tampa Museum of Art, Henry B. Plant Museum and The Florida Aquarium are closed.

  Jersey Boys and all shows at The Straz Center have been suspended until April 19.

  Chasco Fiesta organizers do hope to reschedule the festival, but given that Bret Michaels is going on tour with Poison, it might be tough to get him for when they do.

• Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

  The race was originally scheduled for the weekend of March 13th, but was ultimately canceled. However, on March 26th officials announced they expect to reschedule the race for the end of the IndyCar season. Date TBD.

• Frankie Valli and several more concerts postponed…

  Art Garfunkel, Jill Scott, Graham Nash, America, Bruce Hornsby, Howard Jones, Frankie Valli, Trey Kennedy, A Bowie Celebration are all postponed.
• Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo in Lakeland

  The popular Polk County event is postponed. Word is they hope to move it to May.

• Universal Orlando Resort

  Parks open June 5 at reduced capacity. Guests must go through a temperature check and wear a face mask.

• Tampa Bay Rowdies

  The Rowdies season is postponed for 30 days.
• WrestleMania 36

  WWE's WrestleMania 36 will not take place at Raymond James Stadium as planned. The WWE says they will instead present the show from their Orlando training center without an audience. Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will automatically get a refund in the next 30 days.

• NCAA Basketball

  No March Madness. The NCAA has cancelled the Division 1 men's and women's 2020 basketball tournaments, as well as all remaining winter and spring NCAA championships.

• Disney Springs

  The parks remain closed, but some retail stores and restaurants are open at Disney Springs.
• Tampa Bay Airfest 2020

  Tampa Bay Airfest 2020 featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels has been canceled at MacDill Air Force Base.

  The PGA has canceled THE PLAYERS Championship and all events through the Valero Texas Open.

  The NHL season is "paused" according to Commissioner Gary Bettman.

  The XFL has announced they will not be playing their regular season games. They say they're looking forward to a full season in 2021.
• Country Thunder

  The popular country music festival featuring Eric Church near Orlando has been postponed. Country in the Park in Pinellas Park for next weekend has also been called off.

  Major League Baseball has suspended Spring Training and will delay the start of the regular season.

• Howie Mandel

  The "America's Got Talent" and "Deal or No Deal" host was supposed to play the Seminole Hard Rock March 21. That show has been canceled.
• Florida’s Largest Home Show

  The home show at the Florida State Fairgrounds has been postponed.

• USF

  The University of South Florida will begin transitioning all classes to remote instruction beginning Monday, March 23. Visit usf.edu/coronavirus

• YES Concert in Clearwater
