Saint Petersburg Woman Becomes Fourth Florida Lottery Millionaire This Week
You may think that you’ve seen this headline already… but no! There is another Florida Lottery millionaire from right here in the Tampa Bay area.
It was only a couple days ago (March 19th) that we reported (here) about 3 new Florida Lottery millionaires that got lucky here in the Tampa Bay.
The very next day, the Florida Lottery announced another new Tampa Bay winner. This time the winner is Dana Butina from St. Petersburg. She is 35 years old and has now won one of the $2 million top prizes from the $2,000,000 Cashword scratch-offgame.
Ms. Butina bought her winning $10 ticket from her local Winn-Dixie, located at 11100 4th Street North in St. Petersburg. Dana elected to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,475,000.00.
The Winn Dixie store which sold her the ticket, will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
I’m losing count of the number of winners we have had here in Tampa Bay of late, but I’m not losing interest. I’m always veru happy to hear about winners in the area, it gives us all hope!
And as an old Florida Lottery employee myself… I would be remiss if I didn’t say, “You can’t win if you don’t play”! (I was the announcer on the Florida Lottery game show, Flamingo Fortune back in the 90’s).
I bet these lucky lottery winners below are happy they didn’t give up. Take a look at their joy…
