2021 Florida Concert Calendar Slowly Filling Up

With so many concerts canceled and postponed in 2020 due to coronavirus, it’s great to see signs of life in the concert industry. While we’re still waiting for announcements regarding some concerts like the Rolling Stones at Raymond James Stadium, many shows have been rescheduled for later this year. Here’s a look at who’s coming to Tampa Bay along with a few shows that might be worth a road trip!

• March 6: Phillip Phillips

  Share

  Best known for his run on American Idol in 2012. Phillips plays two shows Busch Gardens.

• March 28: Vanilla Ice

  Ice Ice Baby might be on the setlist when Ice plays Busch Gardens in Tampa.

• March 27: 38 Special

  Share

  Best known for their big Q105 hits "Caught Up In You" and "Hold On Loosely." 2 shows at Busch Gardens. First at 5 and second at 7pm.
• March 27: Night Ranger

  The band plays SeaWorld in Orlando.

• March 28: Blue Oyster Cult

  More cowbell! BOC plays SeaWorld in Orlando.

• April 2: Sugar Ray

  Best known for their 90s hit "Fly." 2 shows at Busch Gardens.
• April 3: Sister Hazel

  Known for their 90s hit "All For You," Gainesville's Sister Hazel plays two shows Busch Gardens.

• April 24: Starship

  The Mickey Thomas led version of the band plays two shows Busch Gardens.

• April 21: Colin Hay

  Share

  The man with the voice behind Men at Work's biggest hits will two shows at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater.
• May 9: Kansas

  Share

  Carry On My Wayward Song, Dust in the Wind... lots of great hits. Kansas will take the stage at SeaWorld in Orlando.

• May 16: The Beach Boys

  Bringing “Good Vibrations” back to Ruth Eckerd Hall. Word is John Stamos will be there to play along!

• May 22 & 23: Foreigner

  A socially distanced acoustic night of Foreigner hits comes to Ruth Eckerd Hall.
• June 21: Backstreet Boys

  The Bucs' biggest fan Nick Carter is bringing his Backstreet Boys home to Tampa for a show at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

  Back together again at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

• June 18 & 19: Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett

  Miami's show will be on June 18. The next night the tour comes to Orlando. Then the tour moves north but comes back to Florida for a show in Jacksonville on July 2. Unfortunately still no word of any Tampa dates for the tour.
• July 2, 2021: Chicago

  This rescheduled show will be without Rick Springfield. The show will be at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

• July 20: The Doobie Brothers

• April 27: Pat Benatar

  See Pat at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater or in Sarasota April 24 at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.
• July 8: Matchbox 20

  Rescheduled date at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa. This show was originally scheduled back in 2020!

• February 16: Rod Stewart

  A rare chance to see an intimate performance with Rod at the Hard Rock Event Center in Tampa. The last time Rod played the room, he walked out on stage and saw the small audience and jokingly asked if he was getting his normal fee.

• August 17, 2021: Alanis Morissette

  Figured you oughta know that the show has been postponed until August 17, 2021 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.
• August 27: Santana with Earth, Wind & Fire

  This is the rescheduled date for the show that was originally scheduled for August 2020 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

• September 20, 2021: Daryl Hall & John Oates

  It'll be a big night of familiar Q105 classics at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

• September 24, 2021: Maroon 5

  Adam Levine is back on the road with the band. Meghan Trainor opens at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.
• October 30, 2021: Enrique Iglesias

  This is a rescheduled date. Ricky Martin ("La Vida Loca") co-headlines this one at the Amway Center in Orlando.

• December 4: Jimmy Buffett

  If you've been to a Buffett show, you know the real show isn't on stage, it's in the crowd. This will be the 3rd attempt at making this concert happened. Jimmy had shoulder surgery that postponed the concert in 2019. Then our friend COVID-19 meant a postponement of the rescheduled 2020 concert at Amalie Arena in Tampa.

• April 24: Elton John

  A rescheduled performance date for Amalie Arena.
• June 3: The Rolling Stones

  If you missed them in Tampa, you have one more chance to see the Rolling Stones when the Hackney Diamonds '24 tour comes to Camping World Stadium in Orlando. And if you miss this show, you'll have to catch them on one of their future tours over the next few decades... because even though the show is sponsored by AARP, the Stones show no signs of slowing down.

• Cancelled: Cher

  Share

  The concert was originally set for March 26. Cher hoped to reschedule, but given the uncertainty of how long we'll be dealing with coronavirus, she has decided to cancel the show so fans can get refunds.
