Another Restaurant Disappears In Ybor
It’s only been a week since the doors closed at Tony’s Restaurant after decades in business. Now another Ybor hotspot has called it quits.
Doors are locked and signs are removed from the Buffalo Wild Wings on 7th Avenue, according to Creative Loafing. This B-Dubs has only been open for about a decade. It always seemed busy to me, but there’s not even a mention of the Ybor location anymore on the Buffalo Wild Wings website. Fans will now have to head to South Tampa as the South Dale Mabry location is the only one left in Tampa. Otherwise, you’ll find them in Pinellas Park, Largo, St. Pete, Oldsmar, New Port Richey, Wesley Chapel, Bradenton, Brandon and Riverview.
Arby’s bought the chain about 5 years ago. Creative Loafing did some digging to see what is going in its place. City records show it’ll be a country bar called “Southern Belle.” Their website only indicates it’ll be a bar and grill. [Source: Creative Loafing]
