Where & When To See The Tall Ships In St. Pete This Weekend
There will be some sweet views this weekend as you stroll around the parks along the water in St. Petersburg. Tall Ships America is bringing its fleet. It’s pricy. And the tickets to sail that go for about $60 to $85 have all sold out anyway. There are some tours in the $20 price range though. They suggest you buy them in advance online since they’ll likely sell out by the time you get to the festival.Let’s talk parking. It’s going to be a tough down by the water so the city has set up a free shuttle. Park at one of the garages near the Sundial and you’ll see signs for the shuttle. Once you get to the festival, there will be live music, food and those $20 tours I mentioned. And there’s a $10 general admission charge. Keep in mind that general admission does not include boarding the ships or any tours. Gates open at 10am both Saturday and Sunday and the festival wraps up around 6.
