Wheel of Fortune Is Coming To Clearwater… Sort Of
If you’ve had Wheel of Fortune dreams of spinning the wheel and winning a trip to Hawaii or $10,000, you don’t need to fly to California. The long running TV game show is coming to Tampa Bay… sort of.
A touring stage show similar to the Jeopardy! one that’s come to Clearwater quite a few times is stopping at Ruth Eckerd Hall December 16. Contestants will be selected to play at random, according to their website.
You won’t see Vanna White or Pat Sajak (or his rather unpopular incoming replacement). And you won’t really be on TV. But you will see a life-size replica of the wheel they use on TV. And the prizes will be real. The website claims you could win thousands in cash or a trip to someplace like Paris or Hawaii.
Ticket prices range from $30.75 to $75.75 and are on sale now at the Ruth Eckerd Hall website.
