Publix Sub Thieves Steal Sandwiches From Florida Store
Everyone loves a good Publix sub but are you willing to steal them? First off, it’s crazy to steal your favorite sandwich from Publix when most of them are super affordable and constantly on sale. That didn’t matter to two suspects who are accused of snatching two pub subs over the weekend and running out of the store. They were caught on camera stealing inside the store and on camera in their getaway car. Police are asking for your help to find them.
Where Are The Publix Sub Thieves:
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said that a couple walked into the Publix and continued up to the deli station Saturday afternoon. The Florida Publix located on Del Prado Boulevard in Cape Coraland looked for an order they had previously placed online. According to WFLA, they were not being able to find their sandwiches, they previously ordered online, the Deli Clerk made them new ones. After they were done, they took their pub-subs and walked out of the store without paying. According to the police report, each sub cost $9.99, bringing the sandwich’s total value to $21.28.
They stole two turkey subs, and it was all caught on security footage plus they got the couple driving away in a black Ford Explorer. Police are asking for your help in catching the couple that got away. Anyone who recognizes the couple or has any information about this incident is asked to contact Lee County deputies at 239-477-1000. It’s important to note that it’s not worth stealing two turkey sandwiches. There are way better Pub subs that you can order there so we assumed they would have ordered something different. Publix is known for many delicious sandwiches and one if their most famous chicken tender sub. We highly recommend trying that one and actually paying for it that way you don’t go to jail.
