Shake Shack Is Finally Coming to Tampa
No sorry. It’s not In-N-Out. I don’t think we’ll ever get one of those in Florida. But FINALLY! Tampa Bay is going to get to experience a Christmas Cookie Milkshake from Shake Shack! I first became aware of Shake Shack on a trip to New York City. A listener got me to try it and I’ll always be grateful. It’s pricey for fast food. I’m not gonna lie. It’s usually about $15-20 for a full meal. When you compare that to the other fast food joints that have those 4 for $4 deals, that’s expensive. But nonetheless, their burgers, fries and shakes are great. They use natural Angus beef with no hormones or antibiotics, according to their website.
ABC Action News reports the first Tampa area Shake Shack will open in the Midtown Tampa off Cypress Street in early 2021. That’s the same spot where they’ll have Tampa’s first REI Co-op and a huge new Whole Foods Market and Oprah Winfrey’s True Food Kitchen. They will have it open in time for the Super Bowl in Tampa in February 2021. Don’t know if that’s when Shake Shack will be open, but fingers are crossed. Stop here if you don’t want to be tortured with mouth-watering photos of their burgers.
