Daylight Savings Time
Well, it’s that time of year again. It’s time to reset our clocks.
Daylight Savings Time officially begins every second Sunday of March. This year DST fall on Sunday, March 10th. at 2am and will end on Sunday November 3rd. So, when you go to bed this Saturday night, be sure to set your clocks AHEAD one hour. Remember the old saying, “Spring Ahead… Fall Back”.
Daylight Savings Time is the practice of advancing clocks during summer months so that evening daylight lasts longer, while sacrificing normal sunrise times.”
Theoretically, you will lose one hour of sleep on Saturday night / Sunday morning. However, you will still have daylight when you begin your evening drive home from work starting on Monday.
States that do NOT follow the Daylight Savings rule are:
- Hawaii
- Arizona
