Florida Is In The Top 10 For States For Drunk Online Shoppers
Drunk driving is bad. Drunk texting your ex is bad. But now they’re actually measuring people who buy stuff they don’t need online because they’re drunk.
“The Hustle” measured online drunken shopping habits and sure enough, Florida landed in the Top 10. They found 79% of us have made at least one drunk purchase. It’s most often clothing and shoes. Women are mostly likely to do it, but the disparity is pretty small … 80% to 78%. They found the average drunk shopper spends about $444 a year.
Only a few states had more drunk online shoppers than Florida. Iowa, South Carolina, Alabama, New Jersey and Maryland were the biggest offenders.
