REPORT: Super Bowl In Tampa Could Have 13-15,000 Fans In Stands
As fans have been let back in for some football games this season, we’ve all been wondering about how things will go when the Super Bowl comes to Tampa. The NFL has a plan, according to ESPN. ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted a short time ago that Ray Jay could be filled at about 20% capacity. 13 to 15,000 of the 65,000 seats would be filled. The game is February 7, 2021. Schefter goes on to say that fans will be in pods six feet apart. Masks will also be required. This is a big change in plans. The NFL reps said a few weeks ago they planned to have a full stadium. [Source: Seating capacity at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa is 65,618, maybe more with temporary seating for a Super Bowl. So attendance at Super Bowl LV could be between 13-15,000 people. https://t.co/AZT14pyRaE
