Florida Boaters Capture Video of 4 Rare Sharks Near A Sandbar
A Memorial Day weekend beach visit got a little intense. This video below was taken at Shell Island just south of Tierra Verde. You see folks in the sandbar, walking around with hammerhead sharks just a dozen or two feet away. 3 ladies were on a raft and they were right under them.
Hammerheads are generally not known to attack humans, but I’m pretty sure I’d be heading for land faster than some of these folks did. They mostly eat fish and stingrays, but can be dangerous if they have to defend themselves. And I don’t know about you, but I’m not all that skilled at judging shark mood swings.
