Clearwater PD: Pasco Man Arrested After Firing A Gun From His Motorcycle
It only took a few hours for our first “A Florida Man” story this week. Early this morning, Clearwater Police say 43 year old Emanuel Cantero-Sato of Holiday was riding his motorcycle on the Memorial Causeway and decided to fire off his gun. They say he was upset with the vehicle in front of him. He says he wasn’t trying to hurt anyone. Fortunately he didn’t. The Pasco man was charged with discharging a firearm from a vehicle and use of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol. He was booked into Pinellas County Jail.
Clearwater Police say a witness called 911 at 12:44am to report the incident. They say Cantero-Sato was heading eastbound on the causeway near Island Way. They pulled him over on Gulf-to-Bay. The weapon fired was a semiautomatic Taurus 9mm.
