Florida’s Effort To Make Daylight Saving Time Permanent Update
It’s been years since Florida passed that bill that had the support of both Democrats and Republicans to make daylight saving time permanent. So what happened? Channel 8 says nothing.
The problem is the fed needs to approve it. Marco Rubio has put it up every year since it was passed in Florida, but Congress hasn’t given it the time of day. Channel 8 says the bill has never even made it past the introduction phase.
So that means yet again this weekend we’ll be turning the clocks back at 2am Sunday. Will it be for the last time? Probably not. [Source: Channel 8]
