Winner Claims Florida’s Largest Ever Scratch Off Ticket Prize
A trip to Circle K paid off big for George Demetriades. He bought a $50 scratcher and it turned out to be worth $25 million. That’s the largest prize ever won on a Florida Lottery scratch off ticket. The game he played was 500X THE CASH. He bought the scratcher at the Circle K on Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs, which is just south of Fort Myers. Demetriades ended up taking the lump sum payment. That means he walks away with a cool $20,560,000. The store gets $50,000 for selling the winning ticket.
